TonyJENNINGSTony sadly passed away after a short illness. He was a much loved father, grandad, great grandad, brother and uncle and good friend to many. Golfer, Angler and fearsome centre forward in local football he was a proud Cleethorpes boy and will be sorely missed.

No funeral arrangements at Tony's request.

James Anthony Jennings 9th February 1943 - 28th January 2025

Have known Tony from School Days at Elliston Street. Played football with him for school team, Cleethoe Juniors, Exchange, Ross Group etc. I was his Best Man at his wedding to Ros. We worked together at Coppins. He was some character, and we shared many nights out together, particular Friday nights out with lads. Boy, was there some leg pulling with him. So sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts are with his family. Eileen & Pete Jolly

Tony was one of my first boyfriends (I was about 16 at the time)! and I always think of him when I hear Bobbie Darren’s song “Things” as we walked down the seafront.
Rest in Peace Tony x
